Over several photo sessions with one of my models we kept coming back to doing beautiful portraits by having the model on the floor and shoot straight down on them. To add softness I had her wrapped or covered in tulle, the gauzy material used in wedding dresses. You can tell the different sessions by the lip darkness. There is also a difference in the processing. For some of these photos I used a  Lensbaby that creates a focused sweet spot and areas of blurriness.  I like to use a Lensbaby to add an impressionistic feel to photos and bring attention to certain feature of the model, usually the eyes or lips. Other shots were taken with a normal lens, Nikon 24-70mm f2.8.
