Portraits

Portraiture is a broad term. It can encompass business headshots, bright fun photos, family pictures, vintage black and white photos, alluring beauty/fashion shots, creative and experimental images.

Portrait Session

Photos that say something about you, not just your job.

⁃ Portrait Sessions work best if we are not pressed for time. We can also try several ideas to get a good selection of images. I usually block out 4 hours for these shoots but it rarely goes that long.

⁃ Unlimited outfit changes.

⁃ Natural posing direction that is comfortable for you.

⁃ Photo Review – With more photos and variations I prefer to do an initial selection before I review the photos with you. It is best to schedule a review session. We can do in person or via Zoom.

⁃ 12 retouched images, extra retouched images $40 each. All retouching is done by me.

⁃ Quick turnaround time.

⁃ Two different colored backgrounds, several lighting set ups.
⁃ Daylight Studio available. With beautiful light with and a narrow depth of field the photos keep the attention on you.

⁃ Location sessions available.
⁃ Images are uploaded to a secure online gallery. Reproduction rights of the image for business and personal use is included.

– $500

Family Photos

Get the family together and make timeless keepsakes.

“Working with Rick was so much fun… I am usually nervous in front of a camera, and I never thought a photo session could be so enjoyable!  Not only is he a talented photographer, but he really is a joy to work with and a lovely person overall.  He has a sparkling, positive attitude, a playful yet gentle approach, and a professional acumen that speaks to his decades of experience.  You can’t help but be affected by his enthusiasm and passion in the studio.  I was impressed from start to finish, and the photos from my session were stunning. I could not be more pleased!!” – Kate Henry

Location Portraits

Create a sense of place with location photos. Doing photos outside is usually best from May through October, although I love doing photos in the snow, if that is your thing. Early morning or late afternoon “golden hour” are good times of the day for photos outdoors. I like to have a couple of dates scheduled in case the weather is not cooperating.

Vintage

Dramatic lighting rendered in rich black and white with a timeless feel, I have been doing vintage style portraits as a personal project for years and my clients have been asking for that style of portraits. Have photos with a vintage look.

Fashionista

Do you have a closet full of great clothes that you rarely wear? Are clothes a passion of yours? I love doing fashion shoots for commercial clients, portrait clients and my own projects. Fashion is a lovely self expression, as I have seen with my wife. The quest for outfits that fit your different moods can be appreciated with a photo shoot. These sessions are really fun. Add a make up artist and you are your own top model for the day. Have the photos made into a book or magazine!

Outstanding! Thanks, Rick … for a great fun experience … that produced great results! – Mark Griffith
